Abstract: The rapid growth of online recruitment platforms has increased the demand for automated methods to match candidate resumes with job descriptions. Keyword-based approaches often fail to capture semantic similarity, the depth of work experience, and the difference between mandatory requirements and additional qualifications. This paper proposes a multi-agent framework that combines large language models, hybrid retrieval, and a near-real-time recruitment data pipeline. The system includes specialized agents for resume extraction, job description analysis, fit evaluation, and retrieval of relevant jobs or learning resources. CV–JD fit is represented by a 100-point scoring scheme with six criteria: hard skills, work experience, years of experience, education, additional qualifications, and soft skills. The retrieval layer combines vector similarity with skill and metadata matching to balance semantic coverage with explicit constraints. Recruitment data are collected from ITviec and TopCV, processed through an Airflow–Kafka–Spark pipeline, normalized, and then stored in the data warehouse and retrieval index. The dataset contains 2,265 job postings, while the knowledge base includes 289 UIT courses and 623 online courses. In an evaluation using 100 job descriptions and controlled pairs of matched and mismatched resumes, the system achieved a Success Rate of 92%, with average scores of 89.2 for matched resumes and 15.8 for mismatched resumes. The retrieval module achieved an MRR of 0.82, a Hit Rate@3 of 87%, and an NDCG@3 of 0.86. These results indicate that the proposed multi-agent architecture with hybrid retrieval is a feasible approach for explainable job recommendation and skill-gap support.
