The Faculty of Information Systems was established in 2006 at the time of the University’s founding. Faculty members are prestigious professionals that must meet stringent training requirements and engage in high quality research in the field of Information Systems. In recent years, the number of teaching staff has been increasing and the quality of that staff has improved. Currently, the faculty members consist of 29 lecturers, 08 PhDs (including 03 Associate Professors), 18 Masters and many visiting lecturers from other faculties and foreign professors. The Faculty includes 3 departments: Department of Management Information Systems, Department of Intelligent Information Systems and Department of Electronic Commerce.
The mission of the Faculty of Information Systems is to develop the IT industry and IT human resources. The Faculty is devoted to offer a high quality education program to meet job market requirements and enable students for developing information systems applications and business intelligence techniques.
