ADVANCED EDUCATION PROGRAM

ADVANCED EDUCATION PROGRAM

The approval of the project “Renovation in Vietnamese higher education” by the Prime Minister (according to the Resolution No.  14/2005/NQ-CP on November 2, 2005) is considered to be one of the most outstanding educational events in 2005. With a persistent 15-year strategy (from 2006 to 2020), the government aims at advancing the entire system so it can be compared with that of other areas and approach to international education. At a result, the Education and Training department assigned the University of Information Technology to conduct the Advanced Program with the Information System major in 2007 (according to Resolution No. 7581/QD-BGDDT), including following goals:

  • To establish higher education curriculum which can approach to standard quality of advanced universities in the world
  • To promote interaction and integration in training as well as scientific research; synchronously improve the training conduction and expertise of management employees and teaching employees
  • To facilitate students in the progress of systematically acquiring and improving knowledge; developing reasoning ability, enhancing vocational skills and foreign language proficiency so that students can address society needs after graduation
  • To construct and upgrade facilities at the aim of serving training and increasing science technology research along with international collaboration.

The success of this model can lead to a breakthrough in completely renovating training program of the University and conducting effective international collaboration.
