PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION

The modern world is in the midst of an information revolution. Rapid progress in information technology is dramatically changing the way we live. That’s why, across a range of different industries, there is high demand for people with specialized knowledge and skills in information systems.

Guided by the educational philosophy of “ to educate for adaptation and change”, the Faculty of Information Systems supports academic and interpersonal development, while concurrently imparting the critical thinking necessary to analyze knowledge, the creativity to nurture this knowledge and lifelong learning.

VISION

The vision of the Faculty of Information Systems is a research faculty on the Science of Services, providing Information Systems applications in management, e-commerce, and electronic administration, on par with other universities in the region.

MISSION

The mission of the Faculty of Information Systems is to provide high-quality human resources for Businesses in Information Systems and E-commerce. Support research, international cooperation, and technology transfer in the fields of Information Systems Management, Intelligent Information Systems, and E-commerce.

SPECIFIC GOALS

• Develop teaching and research staff.
• Provide the resources of high-quality manpower in Information Systems and E-commerce.
• Construct research groups in in Information Systems and E-commerce.
• Cooperate with other universities, institutions, enterprises, research centers, and domestic production centers.
• Provide an international standard learning environment.
• International assessment for the quality of the graduate program in Information Systems and the undergraduate program in Information Systems and E-commerce.
