The Combined Bachelor of Science – Master of Science Program (BS-MS Program) in the Information Systems major has been implemented since the academic year 2022-2023. This program allows students from the Information Systems Department with good academic performance to shorten their total study duration compared to the combined duration of undergraduate and master’s degree programs. The total duration for the combined undergraduate and master’s degree programs is 5.5 years. Students participating in this program can register for and accumulate master’s modules starting from the third year of their undergraduate studies. These accumulated modules are recognized for undergraduate credits (up to a maximum of 15 credits). REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATING IN THE COMBINED BS-MS PROGRAM Applicants must be third-year or fourth-year undergraduate students who meet the following criteria at the time of admission:
- Have completed the fifth-semester curriculum as designed by the undergraduate program.
- Minimum cumulative GPA: 7.0
- Minimum accumulated credits: 60
