MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN FACULTY OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS, VNUHCM – UNIVERSITY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND BOSCH GLOBAL SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGIES COMPANY LIMITED
On the morning of September 28th, at the E Hall of the University of Information Technology, an MOU signing ceremony between Bosch Global Software Technologies Vietnam (BGSW) and the Faculty of Information Systems, VNU-HCM – the University of Information Technology (FIS-UIT).
The signing ceremony was a great success, marking the beginning of a long-term collaboration, strengthening cooperative activities, and technology transfer between the FIS-UIT and the BGSW. Furthermore, it provided opportunities for students to access and practice with SAP technology in the Enterprise Resource Planning subjects.
Attending the ceremony on behalf of BGSW Vietnam were Mr. Gaur Dattatreya – Managing Director; Mr. Vu Dinh Thang – Practice Head, SAP Practice; Mr. Nguyen Hieu Truc – Solution Architects; Mr. Tran Quang Hung – Delivery Manager; Mr. Ho Quoc Vuong – BD Project Manager/IT Line Manager (SAP); Ms. Tran Nhu Phung – Employer Branding Specialist; Ms. Pham Le Van Anh – Employer Branding Executive; and Ms. Vo Quynh Trang – Employer Branding Executive.
Representatives of the FIS-UIT were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dinh Thuan – Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Cao Thi Nhan, and MSc. Nguyen Thi Kim Phung – Vice Dean of the Faculty, along with lecturers and students from UIT.
During the ceremony, Mr. Gaur Dattatreya, on behalf of BGSW, introduced Bosch Global and BGSW-VN. BOSCH is a multinational technology conglomerate operating in the field of technology and has successfully developed numerous technological solutions for human well-being while also focusing on environmental protection.
One of Bosch’s important strategies for sustainable development is collaboration for mutual growth, and UIT is one of the key strategic partners of BGSW-VN. Furthermore, through the signing of the agreement between BGSW Vietnam and FIS-UIT, both parties aim to collaborate in organizing student engagement activities, contributing to research enhancement, and improving students’ SAP knowledge at the UIT. Specifically:
- Collaborate to integrate SAP courses from the SAP University Alliances Program into the faculty’s curriculum.
- Provide the sponsorship package to the faculty for the use of the SAP S/4HANA system environment in the SAP University Alliances Program for education purposes.
- Co-organize industrial seminars/workshops/company visits for faculty students.
- Provide internship opportunities for students if applicable.
- Co-organize recruitment/ job fair events and communicate recruitment/job information to faculty students.
It is hoped that the cooperative relationship between both parties will continue to develop successfully and sustainably with many practical and beneficial collaborative activities, contributing to the training of high-quality information technology human resources in the future.
