GCS is currently looking for qualified resources for FA, EMB & ICT Division. Please see below the basic requirements for our openings:

1. Bridge Software Engineer (BSE):

  • BS in Information Technology

  • Obtained BA degree in Japanese or Japanese certificate of level 2 (ni-kyu)

  • Good at English (intermediate level or higher)

  • Good at requirement analysis

  • Experience in writing document and presentation is a plus

  • Experience in working directly with Japanese customers is a plus

2. Process Quality Assurance Engineer:

  • B.S., M.S. or equivalent in Computer Science or Information Technology (IT).

  • Knowledge in software development process, ISO, CMMI, Project management, RUP

  • Experienced in software quality assurance and/or developing quality processes is a plus

  • Skilled and experienced in programming, testing, programming and testing tools.

  • Knowledge in programming in some of the following: C/C++, Java, .NET

3. Lead Software Engineer:

  • 3+ years of experience in software development

  • Good at Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) skills, design pattern, UML

  • Good at programming skill in .NET and/or JAVA technologies

  • Experience in enterprise application / client-server is a plus.

4. Senior Software Engineer:

  • 4+ years of experience in software development

  • Expert in object oriented analysis and design (OOAD) skills, XML, SOA, Messaging (MQ/JMS), design pattern, common framework, UML.

  • Solid IT background knowledge (software applications development and testing, standards, best practices, security, networking, OS, DBMS, middleware, etc.).

  • Practical experience of design and development for large scale projects with expert-level skills in .NET and JAVA technologies

5. Business Analyst:

  • 5+ years experience in working as BA role

  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, software architectures, Business Analysis Concepts, requirements management tool

  • Ability to interview and gather requirements from stakeholders (including clients)

  • Ability to develop system requirements and software requirements documents

  • Ability to manage requirements scope and requirements traceability.

6. Technical Architect:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development and delivery with 2+ last year worked as Technical Architect

  • Broad and deep technical knowledge of software architecture patterns/frameworks, design patterns, techniques, tools and industry trends

  • Knowledge of software engineering methodologies, object oriented analysis,  multi-tier system, System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Ability to develop technical proposal and system architecture document

  • Experience on designing for system high performance, high availability and disaster recovery

  • Knowledge of SCADA system is a plus

7. Technical Writer:

  • 2+ years experience on working as Technical Writer role

  • Excellent English writing skills

  • Familiar with Software Technology

  • Good in presenting ideas graphically

  • Interviewing and listening skills

8. Senior Software Designer:

  • 4+ years experience on working as Software Designer role

  • Knowledge of software architecture patterns/frameworks, design patterns, techniques, and tools

  • Knowledge of software engineering methodologies, object oriented analysis System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Has experience on programming languages: C#/.NET, C++, Java, OOP

  • Having good experience with Linux platform

  • Ability to develop system/software design document

9. Embedded software engineers:

  • Competent in C/C++ programming

  • Good knowledge of embedded OS (such as Embedded Linux, VxWorks or RTOS) and IO ( such as SPI, I2C, USB) is a plus

  • Having experience in digital image processing or video streaming is a plus

  • Good knowledge in Linux administration is a plus

  • Good knowledge in kernel and driver development (in Linux) is a plus

10. Mobile software engineers:

  • Competent in C/C++ programming

  • Have basic knowledge on OOP and UML

  • Good knowledge of mobile platforms (Android, iOS, J2ME, Symbian, WinCE).

11. Tester with Japanese skill:

  • Knowledge of software testing, especially in testing techniques and testing methodologies.

  • Experience in Testing tools for Unit tests and Automation tests is a plus.

  • Skill in programming in some of the following: C/C++, Java, XML, Java Script, .NET.

  • Knowledge of Web-base Solutions, Real-time Systems, Windows OS, and Linux is a plus.

  • Japanese level 2kyu

12. Java Engineer:

  • >1.5 years experience with Java

  • Have good working experience with UI (e.g. AWT, Swing, MFC, QT, GTK)

13. Graphic Designer:

  • 2+ years mobile/game industries experience;

  • Expert in Photoshop (CS5 is an advantage)

  • Able to show a range of both high end and low poly skills;

  • Excellent knowledge of design basics

  • Preferred additional skills: Adobe Illustrator, Dream-weaver

  • Open-minded and knowledgeable in contemporary media (web, games, comics, film, animation, etc.)

  • Have a good sense of graphics and colors; keen eyes for detail.

14. SQA Engineer:

  • Good Skill of Networking, Software development, Testing, Electrical engineering or others but technical field.

  • Knowledge of software testing, especially in testing techniques and testing methodologies.

  • Experience in Testing tools for Unit tests and Automation tests is a plus.

  • Skill in programming in some of the following: C/C++, Java, XML, Java Script, .NET.

  • Knowledge of Web-base Solutions, Real-time Systems, Windows OS, and Linux
